How to grow hydroponic fodder at home?
1. After soaking the seeds, take the wheat seeds, put them in a bottle, wash them with water, fill them with water, and soak them for about 8-10 hours. In summer, the soaking time is shorter, and in winter, the soaking time is longer, until the seeds are fully soaked and soaked.
2. Germination Clean the soaked seeds, take a seedling tray, cover with a layer of table paper, wet it with water, and sprinkle the seeds evenly. Put a towel or napkin on top of the seeds. The seedling tray below should be leaky, do not soak the seeds in water! Germination needs to be shaded, so cover with a towel or paper towel.
3. Moisturize the seedling tray with water every day. Pick out the bad and moldy seeds, otherwise they will infect other seeds; when the shoots grow nearly 1 cm, you can remove the covering towel or paper towel and let the wheatgrass grow freely. Moisturize with water every day, maybe 2-3 times a day. Be careful not to be exposed to the sun, astigmatism is fine! Pay attention to the problem: the seeds are easily infected with pathogenic bacteria; the wheatgrass of soilless cultivation cannot get enough light, and the lack of sufficient photosynthesis makes the wheatgrass accumulate more nutrients;
4. When the green wheat grass grows to 15-18 cm, it can be harvested. Note: From planting to harvesting, it is generally about a week. It is necessary to grasp the best nutritional time for wheatgrass harvesting. It is not suitable for harvesting too early or too late.
